Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Atlantic Holidays! These terms and conditions govern the use of our travel and tour services. By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Company Information
Atlantic Holidays is a registered travel and tour agency based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We specialize in organizing trekking, tours, cultural experiences, and adventure holidays throughout Nepal and neighboring regions.
2. Booking and Payment
A minimum 20% deposit of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the trip departure date.
We accept payments via bank transfer, online payment gateway, or cash (for local bookings).
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or form submission).
If you cancel:
30 days or more before the trip: Full refund minus service charges
15–29 days before the trip: 50% refund
7–14 days before the trip: 25% refund
Less than 7 days: No refund
If Atlantic Holidays cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political unrest, etc.), a full refund will be issued or the booking can be transferred to a later date.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Medical emergencies
Trip cancellations
Evacuations
Personal liability
Lost luggage
Atlantic Holidays is not responsible for any costs arising from uninsured events.
5. Changes and Modifications
Atlantic Holidays reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, or other aspects of the trip if required due to operational or safety reasons.
Any such changes will be communicated as early as possible and will be made in the best interest of the travelers.
6. Health and Fitness
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are medically fit to undertake the chosen trip. Some trips, especially treks, require a reasonable level of physical fitness and acclimatization.
Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies at the time of booking.
7. Travel Documents
All travelers must carry a valid passport and obtain the necessary visas before arriving in Nepal.
Atlantic Holidays can assist in guiding you through the visa process but does not take responsibility for visa denials or delays.
8. Code of Conduct
We expect our clients to respect the local culture, customs, and environment. Any illegal or inappropriate behavior that affects the group or local communities may result in expulsion from the trip without refund.
9. Liability Disclaimer
Atlantic Holidays shall not be held liable for:
Any injury, loss, accident, or delay due to events beyond our control
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Delays due to weather, transportation strikes, or force majeure events
Our responsibility is strictly limited to the services directly provided by us.
10. Photographs and Marketing
Atlantic Holidays reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any such content, please inform us in writing prior to the trip.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising shall be settled in the competent courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
